Nutaaq/News

It’s been a while. Why not share in a time where we have all the time.

Anyhow, I recently been a part of this production and creation of the show Unikkaaqtuat and probably like I pointed out in the last update that was a big chunk of my life. and still is; It opened many doors for me (mostly internally) about how circus can be implemented into my life.

About keep a regimen that fits me, or disciplining myself to train constantly to be ready for my next contract or just keeping fit.

Having this production be a part of my life has been a big over-hull of what I do mentally/physically/spiritually, in which affected my day to day routine, I wish to continue this lifestyle; just being involved with the arts and striving to achieve a goal to perform professionally in the circus arts at a level of technique which I would love to achieve.

As this whole crisis continues to affect many peoples lives, my life seems to be at a standstill. just stuck in limbo and I’m sure others are feeling the same affects of this virus either directly or indirectly; I just hope that this is a temporary moment in all of our lives and everything can get back to normal with a new mindset for many. That this is the only life we have to do the right thing and invest our energy in the right places.

Lets work together as we should and continue to live our lives as we did and work together for ourselves and the only planet we live on.

Love and peace

Revalations

I’ve been thinking…

As everyone else does, but tonight. I’m thinking about the things I’ve experienced these past few weeks; especially with the production of the show Unikkaaqtuat.

Since this creation/production of this circus show that I’ve been a part of since the first leg of production in March/April in Igloolik Nunavut the second leg was in May/June in Montreal; through both of these moments my life has changed so dramatically in such a short time span, even still now.

I’ve made connections with people whom I’ve never met before hand. With these new connections we’ve all gone on a journey together to tell Inuit creation myths on stage through Circus, Projections, Light, Sound, and Music.

With all of these elements together we’ve made a interpretation of these creation myths in a whole new light, on stage with circus and performance arts. Whereas these stories have been passed down through our Ancestors for thousands of years on to me and to the next generations.

With this story that we tell together, the journey we ventured to get to this point has made me think of my life in a whole new light. I’ve become more conscious of my actions and decisions and I’ve been more satisfied with everything I do and who I do it with.

And I believe that through this experience is an example of the line, “do good things and good things will happen” essentially just Karma. But this law of attraction in nature and our minds really just shows how everything we do has an effect in ours lives; as it should.

And I really hope I can translate this energy through my photos I’ve taken during this production. I hope that I can make you understand how I feel when I captured photos of this creation.

I just need to tell this story right.
