Unikkaaqtuat

Unikkaaqtuaq is a multi-disciplinary circus production based on Inuit Mythology and creation stories; the stories and myths are the ones that have been drawn by the great artist Germaine Arnaktauyok these photos show the creation process in both Igloolik, Nunavut, and Montreal, Quebec.

Since its completion in production Unikkaaqtuat has then toured across Canada from January-February of 2020. I took the liberty to take photos of the cast and our Journey from the Premier in Ottawa, ON. to the end at Yellowknife N.W.T. and everything in Between!

But first let me introduce you to the amazing artists that contributed to this project.
